I always thought that a career would make me successful I have always had jobs mostly customer service jobs. I no longer think a job is my some total my life is so much more I am writing poems and trying to finish a memoir
Such a great question. Having a purpose or mission in life is what makes getting up every morning worthwhile. I've been working on a book about my career at Goldman Sachs for several years and finally turned in the finished manuscript to my publisher in April. I have loved every challenging minute as it has forced me to do my best work, a state of mind I truly relish.
Wow. Purpose is so strong. But I wonder if that is the case across age groups. Earlier in my career title and recognition may have been more important.

Good points here… my definition of success has certainly evolved over the years.
I believe that I have a firm grasp on what is important. ❤️
